Folklore und Heavy Metal, eine der authentischsten Bands entführt auf eine musikalische Zeitreise durch die Mythen und Legenden Europas. Nachdem die siebenköpfige Gruppe Odroerir bereits auf ihrem Debüt thüringische Sagen im folkloristisch metallischem Gewand vertonte, wendete man sich nun über 2 Alben den Mythen der Edda zu und entführt den geneigten Zuschauer auch live auf eine erstaunlich facettenreiche musikalische Reise durch die nordische Sagenwelt und verbindet moderne Musik mit vielen altertümlichen Instrumenten und monumentalen Chören. Gemeinsame Tourneen mit Bands wie Eluveitie, Tyr, Suidakra, Black Messiah und vielen anderen führte die Gruppe bereits quer durch Europa auf die Bretter die die Welt bedeuten. Die Band möchte mit ihrer Musik und allem was dazu gehört ein seriöses Bild über die Vor und Frühgeschichte unserer Altvorderen anschaulich darstellen, ohne diese in eine verkitschte bzw. romantisch verklärte, esoterische, oder gar politische Sichtweise hinein zu projizieren.
