„Der Aufstieg der Roten Schlucht“ Ruadh (ausgesprochen roo-ah) ist die Idee des Multi-Instrumentalisten, Komponisten und Produzenten Tom Perrett aus Glasgow, Schottland. Er begann sein Leben als Soloprojekt und unterschrieb fast unmittelbar nach Fertigstellung des Debütalbums einen weltweiten Vertrag mit Northern Silence Productions aus Deutschland. Das Projekt wurde immer stärker und hat sich mit der Veröffentlichung von bisher 4 Alben international einen Namen gemacht, und Nummer 5 ist in Vorbereitung. Ruadh wandelte sich nach Album 1 von einem Soloprojekt zu einer vollwertigen Liveband und spielte ihre erste Show in Übersee und auf dem großartigen Darktroll Festival in Deutschland. Im Studio ist Ruadh immer noch ein Soloprojekt mit verschiedenen Mitstreitern für verschiedene Instrumente. Live ist Ruadh eine ganz andere Erfahrung und fesselt das Publikum mit epischem, melodischem Celtic Metal mit Black Metal-Einschlag. Das Material erforscht die Geschichte und Mythologie Schottlands in einem musikalischen Kontext, wobei jedes Album eine Geschichte über eine bestimmte Periode der reichen Geschichte des Landes erzählt.

“The Rise of the Red Glen” Ruadh (pronounced roo-ah) Started as the brainchild of Multi-Instrumentalist, composer and producer Tom Perrett from Glasgow Scotland. Beginning life as a solo project, signed almost immediately after completing the debut album on a worldwide deal with Northern Silence Productions of Germany. The project has gone from strength the strength, carving a name internationally with the release so far of 4 Albums, with number 5 on the way. Ruadh changed from solo project to a full live band after album 1 and playing their first show overseas and the awesome Darktroll festival in Germany. In the studio Ruadh still exists as a solo entity with collaborators included for different instruments. Live, Ruadh is a different experience, captivating audiences with epic melodic Celtic metal with black metal flavour. The material explores the nation of Scotland’s history and mythology within a musical context each album tells a story about a particular period within the nations rich history.
