Ende 2016 von Malo Civelli als Ein-Mann-Band gegründet, mischen Cân Bardd atmosphärische und epische Melodien mit starkem Black Metal. Da echte Drums besser passen als ein Drumcomputer, bat Malo Dylan Watson (Kaatarakt, Kassoghta, AM:PM) darum sich ihm am Schlagzeug anzuschließen. Nach einem Jahr Arbeit und unter Mitwirkung von talentierten Musikern wie Mike Lamb (Sojourner) für den Mastering Prozess wurde das erste Album "Nature Stays Silent" schließlich im März 2018 durch Northern Silence Promotion veröffentlicht. Als das erste Album veröffentlicht wurde, war das zweite bereits in der Mache. "The Last Rain" wurde am 22. Februar 2019 via Northern Silence Promotion veröffentlicht und die Kritiken fielen enorm gut aus. Der neue Klang und die neue Komposition von Cân Bardd war eine großartige Steigerung zum ersten Album. Im Juni 2019 spielte Cân Bardd sein erstes Konzert in ihrer Heimatstadt Genf.

Founded in end 2016 by Malo Civelli as a one-man band, Cân Bardd mixes Atmospheric and Epic melodies with strong Black Metal sections. As real drums fit better than software with the project, Malo asked Dylan Watson (Kaatarakt, Kassoghta, AM:PM) to join him on drums. After 1 year of work and with the collaboration of talented musicians such as Mike Lamb (Sojourner) for the mastering process, the first album “Nature Stays Silent” was finally released on March 2018 through Northern Silence Promotion. As the first effort was released, the second one was already on its way at Conatus Studio with Vladimir Cochet (Weeping Birth/Mirrorthrone). “The Last Rain” got released on the 22nd of February 2019 through Northern Silence Promotion again and the critics were unanime: the new sound and composition of Cân Bardd was a great evolution from the first album. In June 2019 Cân Bardd played its first show in its hometown Geneva. The band is now ready to take the road with band such as the Titans from Saor... and the journey starts in October...
